Order Details Responsibilities The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers.The RN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.Utilizing organizational resources, the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.The delivery of nursing care within the Kettering Health Network reflects the missions, vision, values, and philosophies, of the organization and nursing departmentsQualificationsApplicants Must Have: Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered NurseGraduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse.Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.BLS certificationACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practicePreferred QualificationsMust have Cath Lab experienceMust take call and be within 30 minutes of Grandview Medical Center Additional Information:NOTES TO AGENCY: Kettering Health Network is a nicotine free organization. Medefis manages the Billing and Credential Verification process for all Travelers. Upon confirming your first Medefis Traveler for Kettering Health, please download and process the applicable documents, which will include the Staffing Agreement & the Billing Services Agreement (BSA). Please provide your Accounting/Payroll Department with the Kettering Master Timecard so they can supply each Traveler with their TC. All compliance/credentials shall be uploaded to the Medefis Portal three (3) business days prior to start. Medefis will inform your Agency when all documents have been verified and your Traveler is CLEARED to start. Please upload the signed timecard to the Medefis site by 5pm CST each Tuesday in order to ensure it is processed timely. You can view/verify all entered time by logging onto your Medefis account each Friday afternoon for the previous week. You will be responsible for identifying any perceived discrepancies and reporting them weekly to disputes@medefis.com on the form provided. Thank you.
